Go Green Giveaway Event Sponsor Spotlight: Tender Tushies

Friends, I love cloth diapers.  LOVE them.  We started cloth diapering nearly a year ago and have saved close to $500 by using cloth diapers!  You all know I love reviewing diapers, too!

When Tender Tushies contacted me about a review, I was super excited!

I purchased a cloth bundle from Bundles and Buzz a while back, and received a Tender Tushies diaper.  I loved it!  It was a very well made diaper and fit really well.  I couldn't wait to receive the Tender Tushies Organic diaper to review!

When I first opened the Tender Tushies package I was a little concerned.  The Bamboo Diaper is SO thin.  This is seriously the thinnest diaper I've seen.  It's even more trim than most of the disposable diapers I've seen!  i didn't figure this diaper could hold up to anything.  I know bamboo is supposed to be super absorbent but I also know Stinky is a super soaker.

I'll be honest, last night was the first time Stinky wore the diaper overnight.  I hadn't tried it on him overnight before that because I loved it SO much during the day that it was never clean at night!  I like to put the trimmest diapers on Stinky during the day so that they don't get in the way of pulling up his pants, and I try to keep the fluffier dipes for overnights.

Anyway, I have never had a SINGLE leak with the Tender Tushies Bamboo diaper in the day!  NEVER!  Stinky's a very very active 19 month old, so as you can imagine there's plenty of opportunity for leaks!

Last night, I tried the Tender Tushies Bamboo Diaper for overnight.  I'll admit I was worried.  The diaper is SO thin.  There's no way such a thin diaper could hold up to Stinky's over night "reputation."  Even a lot of the thicker diapers can't!  At 4 this morning when Stinky woke up screaming, I knew I was going to be changing his diaper and I hate middle of the night changes!  Boy was I ever wrong!!  I was able to take Stinky into my bed and at 6 when we got up (we didn't go back to sleep, btw) his jammies (and my sheets) were still dry!  Hooray!

I have now tried both the Tender Tushies Diaper in Rockin Red and the Tender Tushies Bamboo diaper in Bamboo Red.  I love them both!  The bamboo diaper is just $12!  For $3 more than the regular Tender Tushies diaper, it is WELL worth the price!  (Even the regular Tender Tushies diaper is fabulous, though.  You simply can't go wrong with Tender Tushies!

Would you like to try Tender Tushies for yourself?  Go for it!  At these prices, even if they don't work for your kiddo it's worth the shot!  Check out the Tender Tushies shop here!

Like "earning" your diapers through giveaways instead?!?  GREAT!  Be watching tomorrow, because Tender Tushies will be giving away a FANTASTIC prize package this week as a part of the Go Green Giveaway Event!
