I'm sure you remember Yanni. In my teens, I rolled my eyes when my mom listened to Yanni. In college, I studied to Yanni. Last week, I played Yanni for my 3 year old, who wanted more.
In January of this year, Yanni began his latest world tour, and in February he released his latest album, Truth of Touch. This is his first album in 8 years! It's amazing.
I LOVE the pure, peaceful sounds of Yanni and his orchestra. I love how the music flows. I love how I turn on the Truth of Touch cd and am instantly transported back to the solitude of my college apartment, pen in hand, writing a term paper. I especially love seeing my 3 year old's eyes dance as he floats around the living room in his toddler prance-dance while Yanni plays in the background!
