Blissful Booty Diaper

I'm going to start this party off with a diaper!  Yay!  You know the normal drill...I give you a review, you enter to win a diaper.  But I'm going to mix things up a little since this is a special month!  If you'd like 3 extra entries into the Blissful Booty diaper, you need to visit Blissful Booty and tell me something interesting about the company!  I'm doing this first so that you have a chance to really learn something new!  These extra entries will be available through the length of the giveaway!  Want two more extra entries?!?  Just complete this task before I post the giveaway tomorrow!  I'll tell you what to label your entries when I get the giveaway up!

I'll post my review tomorrow, after Stinky wears the diaper for one more night.

And for a little added fun, the giveaway will stay open all the way until Earth Day, April 22nd!

well i learned a lot - i learned that Cathy worked in finance before her husband, John, convinced her to expand her diaper making business. She started making the diapers when her youngest was born premature and had VERY sensitive skin. She didn't want to go back to old fashioned prefolds and felt there was a better solution!

I learned about... one thing that I learned was that they only use the best quality fabrics to make sure their diapers are soft and extra absorbent. I also learned that they are a family owned company... started out that way and are still that way.

I visited Blissful Booty and I think that it is interesting and wonderful how they interact with their customers and fans. Currently they are working on expanding to more colors and they are letting us help decide which color should be next. Can't wait for this review and giveaway! Thank You!

I learned that the owner dedicated Blissful Booty Diapers to the memory of her mom, who taught her how to sew (sniff). That's so sweet!

I learned that Cathy started making diapers out of necessity (also - her diapers are amazing).

I learned recently that Cathy, her daughter, and I have something in common: We all have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome! (A major factor in her cloth diapers, as many types of EDS are accompanied with soft, delicate, sensitive skin)

It makes me feel so much closer to her, and made her my absolute favorite diaper maker. :-)

I learned that they will soon be selling flushable liners! (I already knew everything else... lol) I love Blissful Booty!

I learned that Cathy used prefolds for her oldest daughter but wanted something different for her youngest, so she took the features of disposables she liked and made them out of cloth. I love that she dedicates the diapers to the memory of her mom, for teaching her to sew.

I learned that the whole inspiration for the diapers was because her youngest daughter had extremelly sensitive skin and couldn't wear disposables. I love resourceful mama's who find solutions to their problems instead of just complain:)

They are now located in Dallas. (where Cathy was on a morning news show recently talking about the benefits and ease of cloth diapering)

I learned that Cathy started sewing diapers because her premature daughter was unable to wear disposable diapers bc of very sensitive skin!

What an inspiring story! I learned that Cathy identified the best features of disposables and replicated them with cloth to make a practical diaper for her premature daughter, who needed something other than sposies because of sensitive skin.

I learned that Cathy is a Director of Operations of a Financial Company-turned-"diaper-preneur". She started making diapers for her YDD who was born premature with a congenital heart defect, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and sensitive skin that couldn't handle disposable diapers.
